Town's reserves comfortably beat top-of-the-table Oxford United 3-0 at Didcot's nPower Loop Meadow Stadium on Wednesday night. A brace from Ronan Murray and a strike from Bermudian international Reggie Lambe secured all three points for Chris Kiwomya's men.

Town captain David Norris says new manager Paul Jewell has had as good a start as he could have hoped for since taking over at Portman Road four weeks ago tomorrow. Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Sheffield United was the Blues' third successive league victory, a feat never achieved by Jewell's predecessor Roy Keane.

Goals from Damien Delaney, David Norris and a stunning third from Connor Wickham saw the Blues to a 3-0 victory over nine-man Sheffield United. Delaney put Town in front with a header in a very poor first half with Norris adding the second after the break. Grant Leadbitter missed a penalty before Wickham brilliantly ran from his own half to seal the win, prior to Robert Kozluk and Lee Williamson receiving red cards within a minute during the closing stages.
